While public and scientific interest in HCBS has grown, gaps persist in understanding their cost, quality, and accessibility to underserved communities. Many families and individuals prefer HCBS because these services offer care in a familiar setting while boosting independence, well-being, and overall quality of life. HCBS support people living with dementia in multiple aspects of daily life, including personal care, medication management, meal preparation, social engagement, and cognitive stimulation. Collectively, these options are known as home- and community-based services (HCBS). Today, people living with dementia are much more likely to desire services such as home health care, respite care, and adult day care programs. Note: Even though the meetings are externally created they still use the same Exchange\Skype online calendar\mailbox for the Skype room system accounts the group series are logged on to. Simply log into your Skype account and click the Meet Now button on your chat or calls tab in both mobile and desktop. How can I join externally created Skype meetings? We have other VC units (Microsoft Surface Hubs for example) that are easily able to join externally created Skype meetings. The Skype meetings are accepted and appear on the touch screen however there is no "join" option and only 3 dots where the join should be. However we have allowed external meeting requests on the room resource as we need to allow the Group Series to be booked in this way. Skype meetings that are sent from our own Outlook Online to the Group Series appear on the touch panel with the "join" option and are able to be joined.
